Featured Photographer: Dorothy Hong
Dorothy Hong is a NYC based photographer born in Long Island, NY. She graduated from School of Visual Arts in 2005 but quickly built a name for herself as she was named one of PDN's 30 Emerging Photographers to watch in 2007. I actually got a chance to work with her on a Happy Anarchy shoot and she was really cool and professional.
Dorothy uses film and natural light in all her photos which is why they have that warm quality about them. Aside from having a good eye and aesthetic, she is able to bring out and capture all the tones and nuances that the sun gives off on her subjects.
