AMERICAN VIOLET:


- SYNOPSIS: Based on true events in the midst of the 2000 election, American Violet tells the astonishing story of Dee Roberts, a single African-American mother who struggles to clear her name after being wrongly accused and arrested for dealing drugs in an impoverished town in Texas.
